I have been an Administrative Assistant for 10 years and complimented my office career as an artist in oil painting. My passion has been to be professionally trained as a Pastry Chef. Now, I am incorporating my passion for art into pastry making for friends, relatives and people who are interested in good quality birthday, baby shower or wedding cake designs. I am a 2011 graduate of Le Cordon Bleu with a degree in Baking and Patisserie.
I have a special connection with a friend who passed away in 2009. When I was a high school student I took a job as a home health aide as a young adult and caring for my friend Steve who was a quadraplegic. I am donating money to the charitable foundation in his memory. Here is a picture of Steve and I taken in the early 1980s as we just completed a swim session at the New England Rehab facility. Steve was lifted into the pool using a Hoya lift and then used small hand flippers to float and try to swim from one end of pool to the other. It is the only time that Steve truly felt free and I was so honored to be a part of helping him experience that in his life.
